Michael Thomas
Michael Thomas joined Vickers da Costa in 1973 and its Japanese department in 1975. His last job with the company was head of Japanese sales. He joined Martin Currie in 1989 as a specialist on Japan. He managed Martin Currie Japan Fund and Martin Currie Absolute Return Japan Fund. He is on the board of Polar Capital Holdings plc and is also a former director of Schroder Korea Investment Trust. He joined the board of Martin Currie Pacific Trust in 1996. In accordance with good corporate governance, Michael will offer himself for annual re-election.
